pardon the actinic shots. They were on when I decided my tank was worthy of pictures.

Looks VERY good! Except that funky powerhead. As cool as it to cover everything in coraline, it kills pumps and powerheads :/

Thanks guys it is starting to look super sweet, I have a monti cap that I can't wait to get big.

Your telling me, I have definitely noticed a difference. A few months ago I started scraping it off the powerheads to help spread to the rocks and now it just does not stop growing. I'm starting to get some really cool shelving on some of my rocks though!

Nice pictures, you have a beautiful tank.  What salt/additives are you using?  I wish I had that kind of coraline algae growth.

Some sort of balanced two part or a reactor if I had to guess :D

I use IORC for salt, as far as additives go I have tried a bunch. The one that I was using for a while is the C-balance two-part additive. Since I have been doing weekly waterchanges I have stopped dosing and havent noticed any negative effects.

Blastomussa. You were on my list for a single head Ray, but mine crashed for some reason. All I have left are several .5" babys :(

Tuxedo Urchins do a  good job eating coraline. They also loosen and spread it.

I can wait till they grow :party0040: Thank You. That piece is really pretty.
Is it a good thing or bad that they(urchins) loosen and spread it?

I have several things that are ready to frag; trumpets, frogspawn, xenias, and my chalice.

I'll try to post pics later today.

Yep techguy is right. They are blastomussa wellsi. I haven't seen awesome red ones like these in a while. Im pretty happy started with 1.5 heads and im at about 3.5 right now. Im on vacation so we'll see how it looks when I get back. I got them from rich at the CORA swap :D for a great price. On another note I went snorkeling yesterday and saw this huge school of green chromis. Had to be at least 1000. Super awesome. Definitely need an underwater camera right about now.
