Lobo issue
« on: February 23, 2013, 22:33:50 »
I bought a nice red/blue lobo 2 weeks ago and it seems to be doing ok.  Seems like it is nice and puffy some days and shrunken other days.  Today I was watching it and it wa emitting a smoke like substance from a couple of its mouths???  What could this be??  Ive moved it several times trying to find it a good spot it likes.

Sounds like it might be spawning.

Ahhh.....I know where that came from.  Great looking piece.  As long as you not seeing tissue recession, I would say it's ok.  Just keep a close eye on it.

consider pulling those green and brown implosions out of the tank before they take over. Once they get going the can take over the rock and will crowd out all your nice colorful zoa's.

The green ones are starting to take over.  How should I kill them?

Removing them can be tricky and they could have a lot of palytoxin. Consider selling the rock or trading for replacement rock.
