I'm sure its bad, almost makes me think twice about sticking my hands in the tank ever again. Here I am 12:30 the night before the meeting checking out the tank. I thought hmmm I wonder if that crab I haven't been able to catch is out. I look in his hole and I see something retract quickly.... I notice the crab is on the rock above where he normally hangs out. I wait for a few minutes and check his cave again, this time I see the end of it and think man that one big bristle worm. I tell the wife I'm going to get it out, she says wait till after the meeting. Off to bed she goes, the more I look the more I don't like what I see. So here I am tearing apart my rock work to remove this worm thing. I put on my Aqua gloves (something i normally don't do) man am I thankful I did. I remove a few rocks, not only did I get the crab I have been after for months, I get one of his buddies and this thing, yes I yelled like a little kid when I sprayed the rock with freshwater and this came slithering out...... I should grab it by the tail and go wake up the wife.

Its just over 12 inchs long and 1/2 in diameter.

I bit into an apple the moment I looked at that picture... Needless to say my desk isn't a pretty sight.

Don't just flush him, I'd be afraid he's crawl back out of the drain and choke you in your sleep...

Its a eunicid worm, way worse than a bristle any day..... Check this one out.

I Kept one of those in my sump of the reef tank at the shop. It got pretty big, like pushing 2'. Pretty neat but creepy, glad you got it out of your tank....

Pretty Cool. I think you need to change how the raffle is done today.

Put tickets in the bag for each of the gift certificates, and a ticket for this guy. Then have the attendees draw tickets. Whoever draw the worm ticket has to eat it. You can be sporting and blend it up into a shake if you want.
