250 watt metal halide ballasts and reflectors
« on: August 20, 2010, 22:02:43 »
I now have my lighting switched over to total led lighting and do not need my halides any longer.  I have (2) 250 watt ice cap ballasts and (2) nice diy lumenarc reflectors that I made.  The reflectors are made with highly polished aluminum and are set up for single ended mogul sockets which are installed with a good 6ft of wiring. There are some salt stains on the reflectors but nothing serious at all.   Ballast can be located in a remote location to prevent and water damage. I would like $150 per set.  If you want an honest opinion of these contact kennv431, he purchased my 3rd light at the swap this year.  I also have (2) 10k bulbs I have for sale if you would be interested.

thanks for looking
Jeff

I would sell the reflectors or ballast separate if anyone would be interested in them that way.

And I am interested in the ballasts... How much if we split them up?

I would sell the ballasts for $90 a piece.  The reflectors I would like to get my money back on the cost of the metal which would be $45 so I would be loosing on the cost of mogul socket, cable and plug that is compatible with the ice cap ballasts and of course my time which in a diy you can never count.  Let me know if there is still any interest.  I will probably post on fragswapper for the cora swap if no one is interested.
thanks
Jeff
