Well, I just talked to my Mom. She is scheduled to have gallblader surgery next Thursday january 11. I sure hope this takes care of all her problems. She seems pretty depressed right now which I sort of expected. Please keep us in our thoughts once again... :)

Has the depression been mentioned to her doctor to make sure it isn't something medical?
-
I expected it. After her bypass surgery the Dr. told us to expect it.

we will be thinking of you and your mom. my dad had a triple bypass a few years ago. the depression is a normal part of the recovery for heart patients. the doctor warned us about it too.

Thanks Rick. I'm not too concerned about her depression. I don't expect it to last too long. I did have her laughing pretty hard tonight. She was getting mad at me because it was making her hurt. :) I told her to go back to bed and get her happy pants on and take the grumpy ones off. For some reason she thought that was the funniest thing she had heard in years. LOL

WEll, Mom had her gallbladder surgery today. Things went well. She was doing really good when I left. I hope this is it for her for a while. :)
