DFS pink panther. It is less red, more pink in person. Anyone else have one?
-
I have read where it is a very slow grower. Must be, any other coral in lazy's special system would be twice that size in a year.

It has been pretty slow grower. Not as slow as the Oregon tort but definitely slow. Yours is ready to go Jeff whenever you can swing by

I dont think I have ever seen such a solid pink color in a coral. does this piece love the high light like all the other high end pieces?
Jeff

Yes it loves the high light. It gets bit if green around the base in lower light areas.

Updated pic.

Your coloration and photography skills are the best.

Had a customer ask for an all white light shot of Pink Panther so thought I would add here as well
-
Very Nice!

Here it is now. Almost a year from last picture. Been a slow grower but proven super hardy and always has good color.
-
One of the new frags got infected with some green fluorescent pigment. Kind of cool. I hope it continues to spread.
-
The frag I got from you is showing some green as well. Doesn't seem quite as florescent though, I will keep my eye on it. Starting to get some better growth as well.
-
It looks good. It will green a subtle green hue in the lower light areas.

It is in about 250 to 300 PAR. Do I need to get it higher to get rid of the green? Just curious and not even sure I want to.
-
Yes higher light and it will get pinker and loose the green hue. Go for 400-500 par.

Ok
