Title: New to Ohio Reef
Post by: MechanicalEngineer on July 28, 2007, 20:16:46
Hey, I'm Nikki.  I just got home from my first Ohio Reef meeting.  Thanks to everyone for having me!

I'm a transplant from FL, so having a saltwater aquarium has been my only hope for sanity up here, especially in winter.

I have a 40g reef tank with a phosphate reactor, Tunze skimmer (which currently does not work...grrr), and a 10g sump.

I have a 3g pico tank with just a clown goby, and I also have a 2g pico that is just currently cycling LR.

I'll be posting pictures soon in case you're interested.

Nikki

I bought the Tunze Nano 9002...and it won't bubble at all.  Roger Vitko sent me a new venturi nozzle, but that wasn't the problem.  The pump is working...and I just haven't had time to really tear into it.   :(  I was so excited to have it too.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

Welcome to the club Nikki, your gonna like it here. I have an interest in nano tanks as well. Looking forward to seeing pics of your tanks.

Uh oh...second gen camaro huh?

<== Fox Mustang here

Let the war begin.  ;)

All kidding aside, it's nice to see another car enthusiast in reefkeeping.

Usually I take pictures of my tanks on the first of the month, but I'm not sure if I'll get around to that for another week or so due to school.  We'll see.
