Water Sample Taken on: 12/08
Water Source:  Dayton City
RODI
Salt Used:  Mix of RSCP and ReefCrystals
Water Change Frequency:  Inconsistent
Additives Used:  BRS CA, Mag & Alk. Continuum Potassium & Strontium

Observations on 12/8 (time of test)
Only 3 months prior did almost 75% water change with RSCP and tank was doing great. About a month ago started seeing below issues
- Some browned out SPS
- Some Tissue recession in weak coral
- Poor polyp extension

Everything seems within parameter limits or consistent with previous values.  Strontium is the only element that could use a boost, maybe in a well established, SPS dominated system, Strontium needs to be dosed.

Perhaps your right. I had recently been dosing and testing strontium. I actually thought it was going to read a little high. I kept a nice size sample of water from the 8th when I collected the triton sample. I will double check it with Salifert and Red Sea Strontium test kit. Maybe error in my testing
Did you send your sample in yet? It will be interesting to see with your mature sps system if your Strontium is low as well. If it is then I would think it doesn't matter since your corals have the best color I have seen.

For magnesium does anyone know if the mg/l is same as ppm?

I don't thing mg/l is equal to ppm, but you can Google mg/l to ppm calculator.

I sent in a water sample today. In the past I sent in tests when things haven't looked so hot. This time everything is look great. It will be interesting to compare against previous tests.
