Title: Found these in my sump

I have a bunch of these little whitish cocoon looking thing in my sump. They are all on the underside of the rocks I have in the sump. They are attached to the rock. They look slightly hairy in the water & have holes at the end. They seem to be hollow. Any ideas? My guess is maybe snails that was in the live sand & didnt make it??? Is that possible??

Scypha sponges. Good filter feeders.

Cool thank you. I'll stop picking at them then. That's what I love about my sw tank new things pop up all the time.
