Mine does every night.  Mine also has a few sweeper tentacles that extend out a lot farther than the other ones.  Pretty cool to watch.

All LPS I know of is like that...to varying degrees.

ya they take light ,but the tentacles come out when I feed or the lights go out

An hour or so after the lights go out and everything is dark is the best time to view the tank.  It's also a good time to target feed some of your LPS.   Get a flashlight with a red filter.  You'll see all kinds of stuff.  The red filter softens the light from the flashlight.....
