Bi-color blenny

My favorite fish got in my over flow and I found him dead tonight in my filter sock. I am pretty bummed out. Just yesterday he was swimming around as happy as can be. I have had him the longest of all other fish.

Had he lived, I'd be totally happy. This is the kind of stuff that makes me think about quitting this hobby.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have lost 6 green chromis in 2 weeks time to my overflow. They got stuck in the filter sock.
Found the last one today.

Yep. It's a bummer. I might replace with the same fish or I may try something new. Hell I may not replace him at all. Too soon to really tell.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your fish
Sounds to me like time to ditch the filter socks

Unfortunately we have all been there. I had a blue spot jaw fish jump out my tank, I left my hood open by accident. Try to learn from this and be sure the next fish can't get there. Your next fish will appreciate you more.
