It includes tank, light fixture, and h.o.b. filter.
I had heard people complain that the filter that came with it didn't do enough so I upsized it.
You are welcome to get the original or the newer one (to be honest I have about 4 smaller filters and don't recall which goes with it) you are welcome to either of them.
I'll sell the setup for $20.
