We make our own food, and there was a thread on here a while back about it. I found the post we did about what was in ours, so her you go.

I don't mind sharing, but I am not the kind of cook who measures. I just throw it all together, so I will try to give you estimates if I can.

15 cubes (half a sheet) frozen brine shrimp
15 cubes (half a sheet) frozen cyclops (came as cyclopease, thanks Justin)
15 cubes (half a sheet) frozen bloodworms
15 cubes (half a sheet) frozen mysis shrimp
4 sheets of each, green and brown seaweed
about 1/4 cup oyster feast
6 tablespoons of DT's live phytoplankton
1 teaspoon of Reese Garlic juice (you can get it in the spice isle at Walmart)
2 teaspoons of Kent Marine Zoe (vitamin, mineral, and amino acid supplement)
1 cup of squid
1/2 cup of krill
1 cup of scallops
3 silver sides
4 uncooked jumbo shrimp (Fresh)
1 cup of raw, fresh oysters
I usually chop it all up in a mini chopper, making sure that it isn't too small or the fish won't get any. Then mix it together in a bowl and divide it up into the bags.

It usually yields 6-8 regular ziploc baggies. I can't tell you about  the cost because some of this stuff we keep on hand at home anyway, and we get lots of things on sale. Also, the only store near us that sells all the fresh seafood is Meijer, so that is where we get alot of it. You can add or take out whatever you want depending on what you have in your tank.
So long as there are some chunks in it, my gold stripe maroon will take them to the anemone. Everything eats including my plate corals.
I usually turn off my pumps for about 15 minutes while everything eats.
