Anyone had issues with plate corals killing and eating fish?

I don't think it is possible unless the fish was really small or dead to capture and eat it.  They just don't have the strength or sticky enough tentacles. How large is your Plate?

4 to 5 inches then during the day the tentacles come way out.

I just googled this topic and read a few accounts of people finding plate corals eating small fish.  The hypothesis behind such an occurance are two things.
1. The fish died and somehow the plate coral got ahold of it.
2. The fish went after a piece of food the plate coral had and the coral somehow killed it.

I would vote for #1

I tried a new plastic covering over my plate coral tonight for feeding... I have never seen its mouth open this wide before, it is actually a little more closed up by the time I went and got the camera.
