Now is the time for a nice clean up crew for my 90.  Diatoms are already starting to grow over my sand and rock.  What do you guys suggest as far as a clean up crew?  Im not sure if I want hermits either, do they really do a good job on hair algae?  What gets rid of diatoms?

I like hermits my self and  they do a good job on hair algae while it is short. As far as snails I like ceriths, nerites and trochus snails. Don't like astrea or turbo snails.

I'm currently running my system crabless....and am happy so far with it.  I run a mix of snails, minus margarita's as they don't last.  I keep turbo's to a minimum as they tend to knock over frags, but everything else is fair game.

Never had much of a problem with diatoms because we have a herd of fighting conchs. Can't recommend them enough.

Just ordered a slew of snails from Reef cleaners..

Not sure what they are. I got them from reef cleaners.
