Condy Anemone
« on: May 22, 2013, 18:47:53 »
I have a Purple Condy bought from Gerbers about 6 months ago. Very healthy and surprisingly has not moved about tank, it parked itself near the top of the tank to catch passing food on a small rock and hasn't moved. I'm looking to get rid of it because it has tripled in size and when fully stretched out is a bit big for my 46 gallon, lesson learned. Willing to give away to a good home including the small rock it is attached to.

Pics attached, I'm in Caesar Creek area.

Nice looking Nem. To bad I don't have room for it.

Stupid question #310...  Can you split an annemone?  I wanted something for a nano tank I am putting together for the wife.  Not this monster...

Some anemones can be and do split on there own, but I don't think Condy's are 1 of them. Plus even if you did it would not stay small.

tnatty32: Still have him, he's moved just off the small rock onto a large one now. I don't have experience with detaching them but if you do, you're welcome to him.
