"A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow."   < K >

Thanks Ken.

Well I picked up a new fish today at marine solutions.  Needed someone to work on the algae.  So I purchased a "Tomini Tang".  Very beautiful fish, just hoping it will work on the algae for me.  Tried getting some pics, but she's being a little shy at the moment.  So pictures to come.  The kids haven't seen it yet, so name to come also.

As far as Jackie and Stripes, they're both doing fine.  Though I'm a little disappointed.  Stripes is missing an eye.  I can only assume this was a problem that I should have noticed at the LFS, but I didn't sadly.  Other than that he appears to be in good shape.  Seems to enjoy following Jackie around.

Got to get some financial concerns taken care of, but I'm thinking pretty soon.  In the next couple of months I should be able to start adding some coral to the tank.  Here's to hoping everything works out in that area.

Well hope everyone else's tanks are doing well, and happy reefing.

Here are some updated photos of the new inhabitants of the tank.

This is a picture of "Stripes".  He seems to be doing pretty well.  Jackie was sleeping so didn't get a pic of her today.  Oh, does anyone know if I were to get another flame angel would they just kill one another or might they pair up?

This is "Buttons" my daughter named her.  She's still a little shy, but eating like a little piggy.  Just not the algae so much, oh well

This is a picture of my lone coral.  It's doing alright.  Not really familiar with this type of coral, John at Gerber's said they were pretty beginner friendly, and so far so good.

Picture of my son's chromi's.  I think we may have to get some more.  Loving the way that they school, and they are eating great also.

That is exactly what I was hoping for to.  Just going to give it a little while and then put some more in.

This pic is a little bit better pic of Button's side.  Hope everyone is doing well, and happy reefing.

Picked up a lawnmower blenny at Marine Solutions today.  He hasn't been named yet, but I wouldn't give it to long.  Pretty interesting fish.  Likes riding on the red algae.  Haven't seen it eat any of it yet, just munches on the green algae so far.

All the other fish are doing pretty good.  Button's and Jackie have been getting into it a little more than usual, or maybe I've just seen Jackie more than usual.  She is usually sleeping when I get home from work at eight.

More pics to come, and I hope everyone's tanks are doing well.

It is becoming more popular to pair pygmy angels up, but I am guessing with 1 already in the tank it would be kinda hit or miss. I have thougfht about trying to get a pair of coral beauties.

I have caught  the coral bug.  I received some coral that I had ordered the other day, and felt like a kid in a candy store.  I am hoping that they will all do well.

I had picked up;

  Aussie Purple Polyp Montipora Frag
  Orange Bam Bam Zoa
  Mary Jane Zoanthid
  Green Centered Clove Frag Zoa
  Tyree Pumpkin Patch Chalice
  Purple People Eater Zoanthid

I have them all on the bottom of the tank for the time being by my plate coral.  If anyone has any suggestions on placement that would be greatly appreciated.  I have very little knowledge when it comes to coral and there preferred home.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Pictures to come tomorrow, once the lights come back on and hopefully the zoas have opened.

Steve, I think I'm still gonna try to pick up another flame angel.  Just gonna give it a little while first.  Need somewhere to stow the little gal or guy if things start going bad.
