some electric shock ?

today i was cleaning my overflow filter and touched the water and felt a tingle of electric shock ,i was barefooted put my shoes on and no shock could it be because my hands were wet or maybe something else i would cherish my reef friend comments thanks

Use one too.  Many fish can be extremely sensitive to stray voltage/current in the water and lots of pumps/heaters/etc can leach stray voltage.  As far as actually being shocked, I'd find out where it's coming from and replace it.  If you're feeling it, it's past just a bit of stray voltage and your safety could be at risk.
