Cleaning powerhead

Any ideas on how to clean my powerhead for longterm storage.I cleaned outside but worried bout inside of it.

Soak overnight in some vinegar and water, clean with a tooth brush. Should remove any mineral build up.

Will applecider vinegar work the same i have some of that

i generally use white but can't really see why you couldn't use cider vinegar.
