Well, I have the itch again, bad. I have been without a reef for too long(approx 10 months)
I thought I would take advantage of Petco's $1/gal sale and pickjed up a 40 breeder and a 20l for a sump.
I also ran across a deal to good to pass up on Some new AI sol's with a controller.

Not much for pics to start, just wanted to document everything, as this will be a slow build. I am planning to use a 36" cabinet base for the stand that I used for a 125gal previously. I have a wp-10 and a heater on the way.

Still deciding on sand or no sand. I f I do use sand I will go with the Tropic eden reef flakes, more than likely.

 Holes have been drilled and paint is drying on back of tank..... :be happy:

And here she is..lol. The rock placement is temporary, as I put it in when it was a mud puddle. It has been running now for about 10 days with a healthy kickstart of Bio-spira and Dr tims one and only. Ready for fishes anytime

Update::
Due to upcoming divorce and move. I am , once again, getting out for a bit. The entire setup, (tank, stand, skimmer, lights, all livestock....everything) is priced to move at $500.
The lights and controller alone are almost $900 new.
