How big of a tank do you have?
Mines a 125 will the 8000 work for it.

92 corner with about a 20 gallon sump. I normally run it at 1/4 speed, or so.

At full speed, they run at around 2200 gallons per hour so I think it'd be fine. You'll have to make sure your return line(s) are big enough to handle that much flow tho.

Dual
Personally, I'd go with at least 1" on both. That should be plenty to use an 8000.

I dont think so. I spoke to soon. Im using a different style of sump than im used to so i was unsure. But a fellow reefer came over and helped me out. Your more than welcome to come check it out if you want to see what it can do and how quiet they are before you buy one if you would like to.
