I'm moving in a few weeks and I was thinking of taking one of my bigger rock structures out and soaking it in muriatic acid because the structure is covered in GSP and mushrooms. I figure this would be the best time to do it so since everything has to come out and it will make the move a little easier. Does anyone know if I soak the rock in muriatic acid if the GSP will melt away or will it just kill it and leave the mat of the GSP? A few years ago I took a rock outside and let it sit in a container for about a month and the GSP mat was still a pain to get off. Also does anyone have any recommendations on the ratio of water/acid?
