so i have these button polyp things and other pain xenias or whatever, i cant get rid of and an not going to take the time to cut everyone off, is there a fish i can buy that would eat those but not my lps or sps. i will take all my zoas and rics i what out before. then when i change stands and have to gut the tank, i will take it out and get rid of it...any thoughts.....good ones :th_boredsmiley:

i have done that but i have so many i cant do the entire tan at once , and they seem to re grow after some time

If you hear of a mushroom eating critter please let me know!  :)  I'm still waiting for my husband to make me a zapper and even when he does I have TONS to ZAP!

For the Xenia raising your temperature to about 84F for a couple weeks should kill it off. Not sure how it would effect other tank inhabitance.

I've had very good luck with this, and not seen re-growth since (4-5months)

or boil water and use a syringe like you would kalk.
