WTB Hang-On Protein Skimmer For 55G+ Frag Tank

Been in the hobby for just over a year - lost almost everything in the ice storm/power outage the past week - so taking this "opportunity" to rebuild my frag tank - soooooooooooo - looking for a "hang on" protein skimmer for a 55g+ tank.... thanks for looking...

Hey Kenn...

I really like Reef Octopus skimmers - that's what I have on my show tank (what's left of it anyway) and it does a great job.... quick question - you had it on a 26g and I need one for a 55g - what capacity is it rated for?

Its "Rated" for up to 135g but I wouldn't recommend for anything over 90g

Cool - sounds like just what I need.... now we just need to work on payment - LOL!  A while back, I thought I saw that you posted looking for a 250W or 400W MH lighting system?  I have a "brand new - in the box" 400W lighting system that takes a "screw-in" MH bulb and what looks like two smaller T5's - black fixture measures about 15" long x 12" wide x 7½" tall... also has new mounting brackets, two ballasts and a 20k bulb and an 11k bulb... if you are interested - maybe you could throw in a few frags or something to get me started again... share your thoughts when you have a moment or give me a call... 937-605-8843  :-ThumbUpsm
