I personally have never had one, but when we asked about it we were told no. I guess that they will eat your zoas? Check them out online. You can search them and find plenty of info on them.

I have steered away from them (much to my wife's dismay) because I was told if the die they release a toxin into your system that can wipe everything out. Dont know if this is completely true but with my luck I have decided not to keep them.

They are cute though  ^-^

One thing to add is they aren't good swimmers therefore typical flow of our reef tanks are pretty rough on them.

You may want to consider size also. They can get 16" - 20"

I think it was reefkeeper mag that had an article on these guys a while back. It stated that these guys can release a toxin that will kill everything in the tank if it becomes too distressed or dies... Same applies to all boxfish.

I know a guy whose cowfish died and it killed everything in his tank
90 gallon shallow
