Too much current?
« on: April 06, 2011, 22:28:11 »
I have a 30 gallon tank with a yellowtail damsel in it at the moment. I have a powerhead positioned about
halfway down the side face across the tank. The powerhead is angled slightly down so that the flow crosses
my live rock also. It seems as if my damsel is getting tossed around a lot but I am new to this so I'm not
sure. Should I move my powerhead or is it ok? Any advice is welcomed

That may be a little strong for that sized tank.  would think around 500-550GPH would do better, try to put it up in a top corner and angle diaganol towards the opposite sides bottom corner so it has a little bit longer distance. Just my 2 cents!
