I'm just a dummy looking for some info on this Monti

Ok.. So I picked up this small colony of Montipora. I know the some of the basics of these corals but I'm starting to wonder about this coral. The coral had this coloration when I got it and it has grown a little bit. Here a picture. Some of you have probably already seen it.



I know this is a monti but I dont know what type so ive been looking at pictures to try and figure it out. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's a Montipora Confusa?

The real question is, is this the color it should be? I know the picture quality is pretty bad but it has green accents and the rest of it is just a tannish color. Most of the Confusa I see is very vibrant in color. Like I said before, it has grown a bit. Is there something wrong with this coloration, and if so what can I do to get the color back?

How long have you had it? It took my leather a few days to spread out. Now its about 5" across when it does.

Definitely Monti.....not positive on the confusa classification, but monti's come in all shapes and colors.  I've had bland all the way up to wow.......they are one of my favorite corals.

It's Confusa and I confirmed it with Heath who had it at PSP.
