Hey Guys
« on: September 27, 2013, 00:26:25 »
I'm Tony.  I'm 25 years old, and have always been an animal person.  It was reptiles when I was younger.  In the past couple years I've been really big into freshwater planted tanks working with discus and SA cichlids, but honestly just got sort of bored with them, and decided to make the switch to salt.  I've been doing my research lately, and the more I read, the more I fall in love.  I'm eager to get to know all of you, and am currently in the process of setting up a 90 gallon reef tank.  Just thought I would pop in and say hello  :D

Yeah, I was going to upload some of my freshwater work, but the hard drive in my laptop is acting a bit stupid, so i'm on my work laptop while i'm working on getting my other one up and running.  I have some pretty cool pics of Salvini's I bred, Electric blue's, Arowana, N. Senegalis, and my Motoro Freshwater ray.  I'll get the old pics up as soon as I figure out whether this hard drive can be recovered or not, and will upload pics on my new reef tank as it progresses   :be happy:

Got my computer back up and running ^.^

Here's the freshwater photo's I was talking about

Mated Salvini pair with eggs in the background

Nigerian Senegalis & Anubias blooming to the left

Close up of Anubias bloom

Electric Blue Jack Dempseys

Motoro Freshwater Stingray

I'll get pics of the reef tank in progress up as soon as I can.  I work heavy the next two days, so it may be a few days before I get anything substantial uploaded, but I'm also looking for some good live rock for both my tank and sump if anyone is trying to get rid of some.  I'll probably be pretty active on these forums.  Trying to soak up all this info like a sponge =P

Welcome, love the reef tank but I still love the freshwater especially with the live plants. I keep a 125 gal at work with live plants, angel fish and tetras.
