LED light system
« on: April 05, 2015, 20:14:48 »
I currently have a 120W marinesolutions LED. I want something with a little more color and timed dimmers to set dawn day dusk and night. Anyone selling a system or have a recommendation on one?

Looking to spend $250-$300 max. I have a 29g cube. Want to be able to do all types of corals including sps's

165W Full Spectrum Dimmable LED Aquarium Light for Coral Reef Fish Marine Tank. On ebay but I can not put the link on here

Would these be comparable lights? I know they do not have the Dawn and Dusk feature but are they the same power?

Pretty sure these only have a on off timer. They are adjustable, but don't do sunrise sunset.

Yea I just looked them up. They do not have a ramp up or down feature it's just on and off.

Yes they will grow coral. I believe these are the lights that Lazylivin has on his frag system, and he for sure is growing corals.

The Photons?

No the others. Both of these lights will for sure grow coral. I have seen tanks with both light fixtures growing corals. I have some LED's from a company called LEDZeal that have the ramp up and down controller and I really like that feature. The reason I didn't suggest them is we bought them in a group buy type deal straight from China. I have heard they have a service rep in San Diego now. You might want to look at them. I have plenty of corals growing with them and I really like how the lights ramp up and down.
