I like that, I hope that someday it would have some practical use, It kind of goes along with the whole hydrogen car thing.

The burning saltwater looks more like a novelty.  How much energy is he using to get a flame on the water?  Probably more than that little flame produces.  That's the problem with a lot of the alternatives to gas.  They sound good until you realize how much energy it takes to produce them.

Still a cool video.
