Another question Gary, do you get any noise from the overflow to the sump with just a straight tube?

My overflow is pretty much silent. Every now and then I'll hear a hiccup, but the only noise I usually hear is from my skimmer.

What you don't see is that at the end of the hose is a piece of 90 degree PVC.
