wow my jaw dropped to the floor and crawled out of the room. I wanted to go so bad.

I know that someday when I have  the money and the resources I will be able to go to all the major club events.

but for now I will just browse the photo's.

Did you win anything, Scott? Roger (from Tunze) looks younger than he sounds on the phone. Did George give you a new GEO shirt? The ORA display looks like an infinity pool (vanishing edge) design   .....very nice! Thanks for sharing.

How do the infinity edge tanks keep from getting algae on them (retorical question I think.)  They're pretty, but I'd rather not have two sides growing algae.

Nice pix.  I can't wait until I can go.  I want to completely redo my tank soooo bad.

No, the Ohio Reef group struck out.  I was surprised as well that Roger was that young.  No, GEO did not give me a new shirt, just a new sticker for my Calc reactor.

That is the main question about those ZeroEdge tanks.  Every ones consensus  is that you would have to clean both sides every day.  And what about snails going over the edge to the outside and disrupting the water flow?  Another concern with those tanks is that they all had SPS in them but the flow cannot be that strong for obvious reasons.  So long term success with SPS would be questionable.

Ok, glad I wasn't the only paranoid one out there about those tanks.  Yeah, I was going to mention the snails thing, but I figured maybe I was the only weirdo out there finding snails on the carpet in front of the tank.

Yeah, I'll pass on it if I can't keep SPS long term definitely.  That's my whole point in getting another tank.  They sure are beautiful though...short term.

They make a great clam tank.

The giant zero edge 200 gallon tank relay had little appeal to me I wanted the 178 gallon tank :(
