I think it was released for about 15 minutes before the first exploit (flaw in the software that EVIL DO-ERS
can use) came out for it. Some people at my work wanted to use it and needless to say, they didn't. It does do certain things very fast, but overall (and for the majority of users) the security risks outweigh the few things it does do. Do a google search for "google chrome exploits" without the quotes and you'll see. Eventually it will get there, but until it does, I highly recommend against using it.
One of the exploits actually allowed the web browser to download executables without the end user knowing about it. Depending on what operating system you are using, nothing like a screen saver kicking in and installing a virus too! Just my 2 cents from a network admin.
