sleep is good, about another 8 hours to add on to the clock of time spent away from cigarettes.

Good luck! Two of my married friends and my aunt all quit cold turkey. My friends have made it six months now and my aunt is just about to reach two years come Christmas. They're all much happier without. Hang in there!!!!

I smoked for 25yrs and it was hard to quit and took several attempts. But the only attempt that really worked was to put it in 'past tense'. In other words I was no longer 'trying' to quit; it was 'I quit'. 'I use to smoke'; 'I'm glad I quit'. And it was only then that my mind WAS made up that 'I am no longer a smoker. No cigs for just in case or just cutting down, no lighters or such. 'I was a thing of the past'.

I would not make light of it or say that its easy. But the only way I know that works is to be done with it. And yes I got bitchy and was hard to live to the point that My wife brought me a pack and said, "here, start smoking and stop bitching.

Do it for your self, do it for your kids, do it for a new car, but just do it. you will be glad.
And prayer helps, too.
The mind is a wonderful servant but a dangerous master!
