FS: Freshwater Fish, Tank and Stand
« on: October 15, 2009, 22:25:16 »
I've decided to take down my 55Gallon freshwater tank. It takes up a lot of room in my tiny apt.

There are 7 cichlids, all African. 1 large Bala shark and 3 'rope fish' -- $30 for all of them

The tank is about a year and a half old. It has some scrathes on the front.  Neither original light works (I have a strip right from Meijer on there now) and one of the hood's flaps is broke.

Stand is a old well built desk. A little water damage but solid as a rock.

Tank and stand, and and driftwood for $50

Whispers <you know you want to turn it to salt. If you build it... they [diatoms] will come>... it would cost about the same as a 40 breeder...it could be a clone of Brian's tank

Electrical Engineers do it on impulse, with faster rise times, with more power, and less resistance at higher frequencies, without shorts, until it Hertz

I know I know! The main reason is I don't like how tall it is. I'd like a shallower but wider (front to back) sized tank. Plus, I found some stupid cheap 4 x 39W t5 fixtures. ;)
