*30 watt Aqua Beam 1000 Reef White- $329.99
*30 watt Aqua Beam 1000 Natural Daylight- $319.99
• Reef White has 7 x 14,000K white LEDS and 3 x 50,000K Blue LEDs
• Natural Daylight has 10 x 6500K white LEDs
• Very compact – 8” x 8” (20 x 20cm)
• Weight is just under 5 lbs (1.4 kg) and is easily suspended over an aquarium
• Versatile mounting fixtures included, allowing a wide variety of replacement, retrofit and new install.
• An excellent choice for a Hexagon Aquarium or where an intense amount of light is needed in a small space (such as over your most delicate corals)
• Easily exceeds a 175 Watt Metal Halide (of approximately 10,000-14,00K) in useful light energy; see Aquarium Lighting Facts & Information
• Includes Mounting Brackets:
Easily mounts in a canopy/hood, can hung by wires over an open aquarium, or be placed on “DIY rails” over an aquarium (Please see the diagram to the left, click to enlarge)
*We recommend at least 4-6 inches clearance with closed aquarium (with lid) or 12 inches for an open aquarium for best results (similar recommendations for the AquaBeam 500 as well)

* TMC AquaRays latest offering now includes the improved AquaBeam 500 with new wide angle beam that include the latest generation CREE XR-E Power High Performance LED Emitters; which are best emitters and available Aquarium LED lights available in their price range.
These Cree Emitters should not be confused with Cree emitters sold for other lighting applications, as these do not produce the correct Kelvin/Nanometers of Light required for delicate marine and freshwater inhabitants and plants (think about why a CFL 10,000K daylight is so much different and more expensive than a common household CFL sold in hardware stores).

look like from his page its 3 sets of 12 Cree XP-Gs and 12 XR-E Blue which from what I can tell are the latest and greatest.
At 3 to 3.3watts a piece that is 72 watts per fixture. No that is alot of light.
I am going to see it tomorrow.

I went on saw this tank today all I can say is WOW, it is huge and the LEDS look great on the tank.
The shimmer lines are like nothing I have ever seen. The corals had great color for not having a skimmer.

He spent alot of his time talking to me about how he did things and what he would do different. We talked alot about the LEDs. The pictures just do not do it Justice.
