Phishy Business - Gahanna, OH
« on: July 19, 2010, 02:50:34 »
I went here today after it being recommended by a fellow reefer here on Ohio Reef. The store is small, but they have a lot of corals! :) What they do have in stock is really nice & appears well cared for. They had some cool fish too. In stock I saw a queen angel, a few lawnmower blennies, a shewl of anthias, a purple firefish, and a tailspot blenny...just to name a few. Some nice maxima clams in the frag tangs even. I didn't buy anything, just looking for today. But the guy in the store asked if I needed help with anything, which was nice. But he was not pushy, trying to make me buy things, like I would get at some other stores.

I told him about my small tank I have now & my plans to upgrade. :) He agreed that the g3 skimmer would easily be enough to handle a 75g reef, which I figured. :P I also noticed they had some equipment that I normally can only get online(Eheim return pumps & the larger skimmers, some lighting).

While I was not at the store for a long time, I already think this would be a great store to go to & buy from. they were nice & obviously new what they were doing & how to care for things. They were not overly pushy to get me to buy things. :) I would like to go back once my tank has been set up, and maybe go here to get some supplies for the build even.

As I live in a small town, it is hard to find a fish store, let alone a good one. This is a little out of the way, but not too bad, sense I can go here after visiting with family.

Phishy is always great. I love their macro tank with the garden eels
75G Mixed Reef w/ 30G sump/refuge

Electrical Engineers do it on impulse, with faster rise times, with more power, and less resistance at higher frequencies, without shorts, until it Hertz

I had a G3 on a 90g reef tank I setup a while ago.  The only way I would run those skimmers is if they are modded.  They need a better pump & also if you can do a RC mod

300g tub o fish

I didn't know about the Reef Systems Coral Farm. Dad was kind of in a hurry to leave anyways...

What's the RC mod for the G3?
