why would water be reading higher after coming out of the di unit, than coming out if the ro unit.  i have color chnging resin and it is not changed yet. even so it shouldnt be higher would it. took the di part, apart and it didnt help. changed the meters around and they read about the same used the hand held meter and it also should a higher reading after the di unit than the ro unit

I've seen some strange readings when one part of the resin went bad.  You could also be channeling through the bed and not getting enough contact time with the resin.   I finally decided to separate out my Anion and Cation bed into separate filters.   My Anion bed is changed much more often.   Maybe 5 to 1

I think this is probably from using softwater........

There are flow meters, but probably more expensive than a membrane.     Before you get to carried away, what are the readings your getting

1) Incoming Tap Water
2) Post Membrane - Good Product
3) Post Membrane - Waste Water
4) Post DI
