fix old or buy new skimmer?

Premium has the alpha cone 250 on sale for $900 which is $100 less then wholesale.....

OR

Fix my old ER RC-500 with a single Laguna 1500nw for $300.  If that's not enough of a pump buy a 2nd $300 NW.......

thinking of getting the Laguna...... less money & a bigger skimmer.  It's for a 210g FO
