Depends on what kind it is. I have seen some 2' tall before.

It can get huge! Friend of mine has one 24" across... it weighed almost 50 lbs.... it took 3 guys to take it out of the tank when he tore it down! Probably one of the biggest corals I ever saw in captivity.

A Indonesian fisherman once stated if we blow up the coral reef we have no future...... But if we do not we no way to feed my family now...... How sad the circumstances are today that ruin the opportunity of the future!
