Little White Bugs
«

I have found little white bugs all over my aquarium side... At first i thought they were sand particals but they do not move with the waterflow... I took a closer look and they seem to have antena's. My vision is not the best but i have made a computer pic of what i think it looks like.
Does anyone know what this could be and if it is bad or good.... right now it seems to be eating my algea... which is where they are concentrated at.

Nice job on the drawing, made it easy to identify. They are Copepods and are very good for you tank. A lot of fish eat them such as mandarin's.

Yep. Definitely pods! Their population will explode, you will see tons on your glass. After a couple of months they will crash to normal levels.
It is really need to look at the tank at night when they have peaked.

I'm sure you'll see those (as shown in link) soon too. Munnid Isopods are harmless...and many people have concern over them eventually.
