Still working on it.  :( The connector for the Mag 12 and the connector for the tank are two different sizes. I'm going to head up to Aquarium Specialists today to see if they can help me figure this out.

Argh! I set up the tank and the wet/dry filter last night...I woke up this morning to find water in the basement.

Apparently, the sump leaks. So, I have to fix that problem now. I haven't been able to find a leak. Plus the Mag-12's are really strong. So strong I'm just using one and it's emptying the sump very quickly. I don't know if the sump is empty because it's leaking (the leak is slow) or because the Mag 12 is that strong.

Yea put the problem is you have to move the tank to get the sump out. Sorry to hear the sump is leaking. You could use the barbed tee and use just one pump. Keep the other as a backup.

Enough Duct tape, epoxy, screw, nails, and bolts and it'll be better than new :)

...if not, then that's what the hammer is for...

Now that I think about it, that explains all the water damage on the bottom of the stand

Good point. I'm going to try to see where it's leaking and see if I can silicone it.

Well unfortunately silicone would only be a temporary fix. silicone does not adhere to acrylic very well.

Great. So could I make a replacement sump? How would I go about that? Any other suggestions? Err. This was supposed to be nice and simple. I don't want to give up on this tank, but I don't have much money left to spend on it either.

Contact rayviv. I am building him a new sump right now. His old sump would work with your tank.
