Now I wouldn't say that... I think they are awesome, but I have all the movement I need in my nano right. In a couple years, when we upgrade, I just might have to go all wave-controller with my bad self

On another forum a Koralia rep said the three new pumps will be shipping in the next couple of weeks and will cost only a "couple" dollars more.
It gives a cheaper alternative to be used with any wavemaker.
Now what do I do with my controllable Koralias and the two way wavemaker?

I may get one for my frag tank if I can't find an old style used.

I have been debating on which one of these type of pumps to go with. I do not want to spend the money on a vortex or tunze product & it seems like vortex stuff get mixed reviews.
For $50 for a evo 1400 I think I will try one or 2 of these. The korallia 8's flow 3K+ gph at 38w & cost about $100 so I guess I should try maybe 2 of these which should give me under 3K gph & cost about $100 for the pair and only use 11w total.

Now if they would lower the price on the controller. I know it sounds goofy but I cut every other fin on my koralias and they really do seems to be pushing more water. If you do this be careful there are a couple fins that look to be motor mounts.

What size would do a good job on a 90?

It depends on multiple variables such as the kind of corals you have, type of substrate, etc...
here are their recommendations

I've got a Magnum 5 in the shopping cart right now, but wondered if that was overkill. According to that chart, it would be. So thanks for the info! Looks like a regular #4 will do the trick and for $20 less.

I've ran 2 #4's and 1 #3 at once but with sugar sized sand it was impossible to keep the sand out of the water column. Currently I have a #4 and a #2 I would like to get another 4 or 5 but my frogspawn wouldn't like it much.
