Get a CCB, peppermint shrimp are hit or miss on aptasia.

Nope, just feather dusters but that is a small price to pay in my opinion.

don't have any feather dusters so dont have to worry about that.  I do have two anemones GBTA and a hatian. would it mess with either of those?

For the most part they are cool. Mine ate every bit of aptasia in 2 weeks. A few months later, he had eaten every feather duster, then started nipping at my clam mantles, and zoanthids.

I agree with Lonnie, great fish, and they will take care of the problem 100%. Peppermints are hit and miss. Mostly because they are often mislabeled. Retailers receive peppermints that are not actually peppermints.

I don't like the fact that CBB don't typically eat prepared foods, and waste away. They are beautiful fish, that are over collected because of this.

If you purchase one, have a backup plan. Someone who can take it once it clears the tank, and give it back when you have aptasia again. And you will.

Maybe now is an appropriate time to set up a forum for trading fish/equipment/etc... :D I could use one aswell, but only for a few weeks :)

Or you could put kalk paste in a syringe without the needle and drop it right above the aiptasia.  If you get one that is a pain you can always scare it into it hole and put a tiny piece of epoxy over it.

Ditto for me. I am lucky enough to not have more than a few in my display. In my sump, thats another story.

I have a CBB that I have had for at least 3 1/2 years. Never bothered any coral but did eat a clam. I have fed it spirulina brine and mysis since i have had it and it is doing great. Before I purchased one I would make sure that it was eating. It also likes regular raw shrimp chopped up fine. It also seems to pick at my GSP every now and then its a shame it doesnt develop a taste for them.

I have 2 or 3 that have been getting HUGE becuase Im too afraid to touch them.  Does killing them with kalk make them spread spores and multiply?

Electrical Engineers do it on impulse, with faster rise times, with more power, and less resistance at higher frequencies, without shorts, until it Hertz

I've never had problems with them multiplying, usually I drip it right above them and they try to catch the kalk but it burns right through them it looks as though they are melting.

I tried the stabbing method but then I started breaking them and I didn't want more so I then went to the shoot it over their mouth method.
