My Rabbitfish
« on: July 24, 2011, 10:18:53 »
This is the most skiddish fish I ever saw. He never acted this way in the 90. When I put him in the 220 for the first time, he was biting the net and had his top and bottom fins straight out. He went to the one side and stayed there a long time. Breathing real hard. He finally came out of it. Today we did a water change, and he acted this way gain. The Sailfin (his buddy) went back there and swatted him a few times than he came back out and is acting fine now. Is this normal?

Yup.....very stressed.  I would avoid too much interaction until he gets more used to the tank.

Possibly do things when the lights are out.

Yea, that is a good idea.  I will do that the next water change.
