anything full auto manufactored before 1986 is legal to own in many states (uzi, thompson, mac10, berreta 93). You just need the proper ATF tax stamps. Anything full auto manufactured post 1986 can only be owned by a Class 3 weapons dealer.

Intresting enought "Red Stick Firearms" owned by Will Hayden (tiny gun range/shop) continued to grow and eventually moved locations and changed names to "Red Jacket Firearms" which now have the show "Sons of Guns" on discovery channel. Anytime they film in Will's office and he has all the full auto guns on the wall, I have shot most of those
