DIY 90 Gallon stand and canopy build

Hi these are some pictures of my 90 gallon mixed setup constuction of stand and canopy I have been working on. Any suggestions I would be happy to take them.

I changed one thing on the frame i added 2x4 supports on all corners and center front and back.

Ok I have neglected to post additional photos of my build and I will do so by tomorrow morning it is coming along I have made a few changes to the final look overall and decided to paint it instead of stain and I am also doing a seperate sump refugium 20 or 30 on the sump and 10 gallon refugium but pics are coming soon thanks ...

One question about your stand, is there doors to access the inside of the stand? Maybe I missed it I am good at that lol.

lol yes 2 large doors the pics that you see are early pics i had not cut them out yet i need to post updated pics been lazy and havent uploaded hem to my laptop yet...

If you have not completely skinned the stand you may want to think about adding 2x4's on the end of the stand that are sandwiched between the top and bottom. They will support the weight much better than relying on the screws to hold.

I have already done that I thaught the same thing what wood did you use on you new canopy ? I used pine 1x3 and scraped it didnt like it lol...

Yes for my frame I used 2x2 and 1x3 then I will skin the whole thing in 1/4" oak. Once I start building the hood for my 400g I think I am going to make a frame out of aluminum then undercoat it. In the past on large hoods over saltwater I have seen them warp from high humidity. So make sure you have it vented very well.
