WTB Cheap Pond Liner
« on: May 21, 2012, 18:18:23 »
I have an 8' round x 2' deep. This is the one I have http://www.tractorsupply.com/american-farmland-reg-round-tank-8-x-2-in-plastic-2177188
I am going to use it as a gold fish pond & replace my little 100 gallon pond. I dont want a blue pond. So I need a cheap black liner to hide the blue. Doesn't have to be thick or even hold the water. Just be fish safe & cheap. Thanks

I have a pice from my old pond that I haven't thrown away yet, I will unfold it and see what the dimensions are.  It's the black EPDM liner......

I doubt it's big enough but worth a try..... I cut the liner in peices when I removed the old liner and replaced it with new material

300g tub o fish

Not sure if I could get it clean enough. This used to house my alligators. So it's pretty dirty.

Because I missed being able to count to 10 and have all my fingers. Lol jk. Alligators are real cool but they don't make very good pets. They are nice when they are small but as they get bigger they get meaner. & I need the building they where in for my jeep & other projects. If you want a alligator I can get them.

LOL nah I don't want an aligator, Doubt it'd be a good idea with my youngins around, I was just curious why you got rid of em ;)... If I did get some I would be too tempted to build a moat around my house for the in laws....

what do you do with a domestic aligator once its too big or you dont want it anymore? eat em? lol

I'm not sure what I could get away with. It has to push thru about 15-20' up about 3' grade. I have a total of around 700 gallons. So what ever will work for that. Why you got something?

Not just for me but for others so we all know what you are looking for.

I have some old pumps but the smaller ones wouldn't be enough oomph & the larger two pumps I need to hold onto for another month or two, until I get back from vacation then get the pond finished.  MAG36 & Laguna 4200
300g tub o fish

I got yea. Thank you. If you want to get rid of the  Laguna 4200 let me know. I picked up a 1900gph pump but would like a bigger one.
