Im looking to make a shallow frag tank. At first i was thinking about using some old windows i have since only be about 10" with 8" of water. After reading im worried about using the thin glass. Im now wondering what kind of glass is used in glass table tops. I found a large table with top for next to nothing. Any ideas anyone?

Table tops are usually made from tempered glass, so that if you take a header into one, you don't end up with a slit neck.
