finally got me a harlequin shrimp
since i got lots star fish in my tank,so got a new tank buddy!harlequin shrimp
hopefully my tank produce enough star fish for him!

since it hid in the cave all day that is best photo i have him

I had one a few years back. If the starfish you have are asterinas, he will quickly decimate them. Be prepared to feed him starfish after he clears out your tank or he will starve to death. I kept sand sifter stars in my 14g biocube which I fed a leg of these to my harlequin every week. Shrimp was happy and stars grew their legs back slowly.....lol. Good luck with him. They are really cool to observe.

thank for all the comment,Andy i really hope he ate all my  asterinas,because i got lots of them ,they do not bother  any my coral sps,lps ,only smaller poly zoos they sometimes munch on,that is why i got harlequin shrimp,if he ate all i will do same way you did since i got another nano setup i can easily turn that into a star tank,lol!!

He'll probably eat at least one asterina a day.   They will be gone in no time.   It's so cool to watch them peel a starfish off a rock.

Yeah! It's neat to watch them dig a whole sandsifter out of the sand also.

update!just like andy said most of the asterina is gone
he is my invert of the year!!
after new aquascap  he is out cave finally
he miss one on the glass lol!!
